FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering, in particular to methods of creating transgenic forms of potato in vitro of variety "Skoroplodny", resistant to abiotic and biotic stresses. The invention is a new method of creating forms of potato in vitro of variety "Skoroplodny", resistant to abiotic and biotic stresses. The invention enables to increase the resistance to low negative temperatures (-10°C) in 52.5% of transgenic lines (almost total absence of damage), and also in 56.25% of transgenic lines the resistance to heat (+28-+32°C) increased. In addition, 17.5% of transgenic lines revealed resistance both to temperature stresses and to the Phytophthora blight causative agent while maintaining its grading factors.
EFFECT: claimed method is less labour consuming and reduces the time expenditure - from 10-15 years to 4-6 years to obtain forms that later can be transferred to the state variety testing.
