The invention is a method of evaluation of acid resistance of agricultural plants, comprising placing the grains in the inert carrier with distilled water with low (stress factor) and neutral (control) pH, the water is replaced every day at the same time of day for distilled water with low and neutral pH respectively, the mass of roots (mr), the mass of shoots (ms), the total mass of the plants (mp), the length of shoots (1) is measured, the evaluation is carried out according to the reduction coefficient, while, if the Kred≥1 the plant is acidophilus; 0,5<Kred<1 - the plant is tolerant to high acidity; Kred<0.5 - the plant is acid-sensitive.

EFFECT: invention enables to evaluate the acid-resistance of plants more specifically, which is important when selecting them for the selection process.
