METHOD OF DETERMINING PARAMETERS OF IONISING ACTION ON ANALYSED SAMPLE OF PULSED HIGH-INTENSITY RADIATION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01T1/16 G01T1/36

Abstract RU 2507541 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the following processes: method involves first determining the absorbed dose rate, wherein the accompanying detector used is a detector with a dielectric scatterer in form of a flat capacitor-type shielding system with a homogeneous solid dielectric, wherein the cross-dimension of the detector is selected such that is matches or exceeds the cross dimension of the analysed sample, change in voltage U(t) at capacitor plates of the accompanying detector during the ionising radiation pulse is measured, after which, at predetermined or calculated sensitivities the sample of analysed material K to ionising radiation and the adjacent accompanying detector S, the absorbed dose rate in the analysed sample P(t) is determined using the following relationship: P ( t ) = U ( t ) K S , after which the absorbed dose in the analysed sample, which is a parameter of the ionising action, is calculated through time integration of the action.

EFFECT: broader capabilities of application, reduced error in measuring field characteristics of pulsed ionising radiation.
