FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, cardiology, and radionuclide diagnostics of myocarditis. Single photon emission computed tomography is carried our 18-20 hours after intravenous introduction of radiopharmaceutical - 20 mCi 99mTc-pyrophosphate, with further intravenous introduction of 10 mCi 99mTc-technetril and carrying out perfusion single photon emission computed tomography of heart. Before each of scintigraphic heart examinations surface radioactive label is placed in the area of 3-rd intercostal space on right parasternal line, used to superpose scintigrams. Conclusion about location of inflammation focus in heart is made by comparison of scintigrams.
EFFECT: method is simple, ensures reduction of examination time, method sensitivity in myocarditis diagnostics constituted 80%, with specificity being 83%, and diagnostic accuracy 79%.
