FIELD: medicine; radionuclide diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for scintigraphic diagnosis of post-infarction inflammation. The radiopharmaceutical 99mTc-Tectrotide is administered intravenously at a dose of 15 MCi. After 3 hours, single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) of the chest is performed on a gamma camera at a magnification of 1.0, scanning matrix 128×128, 15 seconds per projection. On scintigrams, the focus of accumulation of 99mTc-Tectrotide in the myocardium is determined and the ratio of the focus of accumulation/cavity of the left ventricle is calculated. If the ratio of accumulation focus/left ventricular cavity is more than 1.5, post-infarction inflammation is diagnosed in this focus.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of diagnosing post-infarction inflammation due to the proposed diagnostic indicator.
