FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in arc welding apparatus. The supply transformer is three-legged, wherein its primary coil is on the middle leg, and two secondary coils are on the outer legs and are connected to corresponding rectifiers. Each of the secondary coils consists of two parts with the same number of windings, and the rectifiers have a neutral terminal and are connected in parallel to the arc space.
EFFECT: use of the invention increases efficiency of the power supply and lowers its cost, weight and size.
