FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: source has single- phase transformer with three-core magnetic circuit and two secondary windings, each consisting of two sections connected in series aiding. Each winding is connected to its noncontrolled rectifier. Outputs of both rectifiers are connected in parallel with load. Primary winding and one section of each secondary winding are arranged on middle core, and other sections, on extreme cores. One rectifier is used for starting the arc, and the other, to provide welding current. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
