FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention belongs to area of performance of tests of dosimetric devices by determination of power dependence of sensitivity at measurements of capacity of a dose (doses) of gamma radiation. For receiving gamma radiation with energies in an beam range of values it is offered to use Compton scattering on a metal screen of a narrow bunch of monochromatic gamma quanta of one radio nuclide source. The greatest output of diffused gamma quanta in the field of low energy is reached at the expense of using a screen of light metals. Receipt of the beam containing gamma quanta of practically identical energy, which differs from energy of primary radiation, is carried out by using a collimator. Change of energy of gamma quanta in a beam is reached at the expense of change in position of the collimator relative to a scattering screen. During performance of measurements, they carry out certification of control points both by energies of gamma radiation with a spectrometer and by dose capacity with use of a sample measuring instrument for measurement of gamma-radiation dose capacity. The offered technical solution allows to increase accuracy of determination of power dependence of sensitivity and to reduce cost necessary for carrying out tests of the equipment and materials.
EFFECT: increased reliability of results of radiating situation control and justification of made decisions on ensuring radiating safety.
