FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to microbiology and may be used for the serological assessment of Bordetella pertussis anatoxin toxicity. The substance of the method consists in the fact that test pieces of semi-finished cell-free pertussis vaccine are introduced into wells of 96-well polystyrene trays with an immobilised gamma-globulin fraction of rabbits' pertussis toxin antiserums; the test pieces are added with the peroxidase conjugate of gamma-globulin fraction of rabbits' pertussis toxin antiserums; the test pieces are added with a substrate mixture, and an optical density is recorded, and the optical density is used to detect a titre of the immunosorbent-attached pertussis toxin. At that the substrate mixture is tetramethylbenzidine and hydrogen peroxide. The optical densities exceed 0.2 Units at a dilution of 1:2 and are considered to answer to the toxic preparations in a greater degree.

EFFECT: using the given method enables faster and more reliable assessment of pertussis toxin toxicity in the process of preparing the cell-free pertussis vaccine as compared to labourious methods with animals.
