Invention is a freshly isolated pertussis strain of bacteria Bordetella pertussis 211-03, deposited in FSBI "Scientific Center for Expertise of Medical Applications" of the Russian Ministry of Health (FSBI “SCEEMP” of the Ministry of Health of Russia) under number 317 as a candidate vaccine strain corresponding to genetic characteristics of sequene-type 322MAST2, which dominates in 2005 on the territory of the Russian Federation.

EFFECT: obtained strain possesses high protective properties and can be used for production of cell-free pertussis vaccine.
