FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies of making devices, having photocells, used as light energy converters. According to the invention, the method of making a solid-state phthalocyanine-based photocell for converting light energy to electrical energy involves depositing an organic polymer with semiconductor properties onto a substrate of n-type inorganic semiconductor and placing between two electrodes, wherein the organic polymer used is copper anthracyanine (p-CuAc) or zinc anthracyanine (p-ZnAc), which is deposited in a vacuum in a layer with thickness of 15-20 nm on a gallium arsenide (nGaAs) substrate.
EFFECT: high efficiency of converting light energy to electrical energy, 2% increase in efficiency compared to existing countertypes.
