FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the sphere of heavy oil stock processing. The invention is related to the method of processing of heavy hydrocarbon stock, in which processing stock is heated with parallel preparation of overheated water vapour, heated processing stock and overheated water vapour are supplied to the first soaking chamber of a reactor with two successively arranged and connected between themselves soaking chambers; at that, capacity of the first soaking chamber is less of capacity of the second soaking chamber, and diameter and capacity of the second soaking chamber ensure reduction of pressure and temperature of reaction mixture, temperature of processing stock is set below the temperature in the first soaking chamber, and temperature of water vapour is set above the temperature in the first soaking chamber, temperature and pressure of processing stock and temperature and pressure of overheated water vapour are set to the values sufficient for thermal cracking at least of part of hydrocarbon stock in the first soaking chamber; at that, mean holding time of the reaction mixture in the first soaking chamber must be less than 0.1 second and mean holding time of the reaction chamber in the second soaking chamber must be at least 10 seconds, and reaction products are taken out of the second soaking chamber of a reactor. The invention also touches a hydrocarbon stock thermal clacking reactor, heavy hydrocarbon stock processing plant and other methods of hydrocarbon stock processing.

EFFECT: high stock conversion degree with minimum gas generation and losses.
