FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: risk factors are determined: presence of consecutive and multiple pregnancy, presence of placental insufficiency, hemorrhagic syndrome, presence of initial pre-delivery anaemia, abnormal coagulogram, term and way of delivery, intake of antibiotics, immunomodulators during pregnancy. The established risk factors are assigned with numerical values reflecting their prognostic meaning. The derived points are summed up. If total score is 11 or more, a high risk of developing obstetric haemorrhage is predicted.
EFFECT: method enables selecting the adequate therapeutic approach and preventing the massive blood loss accompanying the delivery in pregnant women with a high risk of the given complication.
