METHOD FOR OBSTERIC RISK PREDICTION FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AFFECTED BY HIV INFECTION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B5/00 G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2621842 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: ceruloplasmin level in the blood serum (mg/h), and the total antioxidant serum activity (c.u.) are determined. Presence of hepatitis C and B, duration of HIV infection, marriage, the number of pregnancies, the age of first menstruation (years), alcohol consumption, presence of chronic infections foci, living conditions, smoking, weight (kg), presence of harmful working conditions, home conditions, family income per person per month, woman's age. Next, each predictive parameter is assigned a digital value determined by corresponding cipher (n) multiplication by the classification function coefficient according to Table 1 contained in the description. The obtained numerical values are added together with the addition of the constant (-0.649) to the resulting sum. So, the value of prognostic factor is obtained, that is used to predict the obstetric risk. In case of a positive value of the predictive factor, the HIV-infected pregnant women belong to the group of low obstetric risk. In case of a negative value - to the group of high risk.

EFFECT: method allows accurate, informative and accurate prediction of obstetric risk, as well as timely treatment by evaluating a complex of the most significant parameters.
