FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on a procedure of preparing urine samples in microplate wells and a thermostat control, and consists in measuring urine urease activity on a microplate reader at a wave length of 620 nm, plotting a calibration curve and calculating urine urease activity in Unit/litre by formula: UA=ΔD*11,655, wherein UA (Unit/litre) is urease activity (Unit/litre); ΔD is change of an optical density of a patient's urine sample after the thermostat control; 11,655 is an urease activity transformation coefficient. If urine urease activity is more than 1,621.73 Unit/litre, a child is referred to a risk group of developing urinary infection.
EFFECT: using the method enables improving a laboratory capacity.
