FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of abrasive tools from grains of vitrified white fused corundum. Proposed method comprises batched feed and mixing of loose components. Abrasive grains of white fused corundum, ceramic binder and filler of alumina-silicate hollow spherical particles sized to 5-560 mcm in amount of 2-200% of abrasive volume as well as gluing and dampening additives. Batched feed and mixing are performed in the following order. First, abrasive grains and alumina-silicate filler for at least 3 min. Then, ceramic binder is added to obtained mix and mix for at least 5 min. Now, gluing and dampening additives are added thereto and mixed for at least 5 min.
EFFECT: higher strength of green, more stable hardness of abrasive tool.
