FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorption materials of vast scope of application based on natural polymers of phytogenesis. Method for obtaining a sorbent from sunflower husks is proposed. Method includes soaking the husks, drying to constant weight and grinding with sampler pulverizer to fraction of 0.3–0.5 mm. According to the method, the soaking of the husks is carried out in a 0.5 M sodium hydroxide solution for 45 minutes, and drying is carried out in a microwave field with power-weight ratio of 0.1–0.5 W/cm3.

EFFECT: obtaining a sorbent with high sorption capacity by increasing porosity while reducing duration of process.
