SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment. An apparatus comprises a laser source generating a pulsed laser light beam, a focusing objective and adjustable components for local positioning of the radiation beam focus, a control computer for controlling the laser light and components, and a control program for the control computer. The apparatus is configured to contour a corneal incision comprising a flap incision when the control computer executes program commands. The incision contour additionally comprises a secondary incision connected to the flap incision and locally extending to the corneal surface.
