FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fibre-forming device comprises a nozzle for the melted material jet to get out to the atmosphere and a blow head with a slotted nozzle for the energy carrier to get out to the atmosphere, it is provided for the possibility of swinging motion around the blow head axis passing through the axis of the nozzle for the melted material. The slotted nozzle is made as a plane-parallel one and is set in the vertical plane in a horizontally parallel way and below the axis of the nozzle for the melted material, and its section lies in the same plane as the section of the nozzle for the melted material does. The pivot axis of the blow head is set vertically and passes symmetrically through the slotted nozzle section with the width of the latter being defined according to the formula B=D/cosα, where D stands for the diameter of the nozzle for melted material, α - blow head pivot angle.
EFFECT: reduction of energy carrier consumption and improved performance reliability of the device.
