FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for production of staple basalt fiber. Staple basalt fiber production device comprises a melting unit with a spinneret, a primary threads drawing mechanism and a distributing element arranged between them, combustion chamber with nozzle device for supply of energy carrier for blowing of fiber and installed opposite to nozzle assembly is a guide element. Distributing element is made in form of slotted nozzle directed towards mechanism of primary threads pulling and connected to source of compressed air. Guide element has a vibration drive and is installed with possibility of movement of primary threads of movements transversely by value not less than diameter of primary threads and not more than distance between them without changing distance to nozzle assembly.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of basalt fiber.
