SUBSTANCE: method for entropic coding of conversion factors, as per which there determined is a location of the latest significant conversion factor having a non-zero value, from the conversion factors included in a conversion unit having a certain size, according to a certain scanning sequence, and information on location of the latest significant conversion factor is coded by using its location in a direction to a horizontal axis and its location in a direction along a vertical axis in the conversion unit.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of entropic coding and decoding of information relative to tlocation of the latest significant conversion factor in a conversion unit having a large size.
