FIELD: physics; geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to determine rock properties during acoustic logging. The acoustic logging device comprises at least one emitter and at least two receivers, wherein the receivers are located at points with different azimuth coordinates and are configured to measure the wave field at points located at different distances from the vertical axis of the device. The receivers are capable of changing their azimuthal or radial position during measurement and changing their position on the axial coordinate.
EFFECT: high accuracy of logging data owing to enabling spatial measurement of the pressure field distribution or other components of the wave field at all three coordinates, including measurements at different radii.
