FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treatment of water, industrial and household sewage waters or sewage sludge, containing petroleum or petroleum products. Coagulant contains alkylated organic polymer, as such used is carboxymethylcellulose with substitution degree from 5% to 25% and polymerization degree from 90 to 400 units. Coagulant is used in form of water-alkali solution with concentration of carboxymethylcellulose 3-8 wt % and with pH being not lower than 9. Claimed coagulant can be used for capturing petroleum drops, inorganic particles, small molecules, obtained after coagulation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to return trade product, captured by coagulant, and coagulant itself for re-use.
