FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: packed-bed scrubber contains a housing with branch pipes for dusty and cleaned gas, irrigating device with nozzles, bearing lattices between which a nozzle and device for slime removal are located, the nozzle is designed toroidal with a circle in the cross-section which has non-through chamfers from both sides of the diameter. Chamfers in a cross-section are extended along the direction parallel to a toroid axis, and the chamfer from one side is located between two neighbouring chamfers made from another side, and the nozzle of the irrigating device is designed with the punched dispensing disk and contains the cylindrical housing with the union which is rigidly connected with the housing and coaxially located in the top part of the housing and having the cylindrical opening for liquid supply connected to the diffuser, axially symmetric to the housing and union, and to the housing, in its lower part, by means of, at least, three spokes the sprayer is fixed, which is located perpendicular to the housing axis and designed as a punched disk.

EFFECT: improvement of efficiency and reliability of dust removal process, and also decrease in metal consumption and vibroacoustic activity of the device in general.
