FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises conveyor (2) for conveyance of the bundle (B) of gelated threads of noodle (N). Rotary cutter (1) is arranged above said conveyor and including six to thirty blades (11) extending side by side with rotational axis (13) and in radial directions around the latter. Besides, said cutter (1) comprises limiting surface (15) extending between the pair of adjacent blades (11) to confine noodle (N) threads upward bumps after cutting. In compliance with this method, one of blades (11) of said rotary cutter (1) can be pressed against said bundle (B) of gelated threads of noodle (N) carried by conveyor (2) for cutting of 1-10 cm long lengths.
EFFECT: production of short noodle threads.
