SUBSTANCE: distinctive feature of the method of forecast of wear resistance of hard alloy cutting tools of the K usability group consists in close correlation between the properties of hard alloys of the K usability group to accumulate hydrogen with the surface and near surface structure and their wear resistance. With decrease of capacity of the structure of hard alloy cutting tools to accumulate the hydrogen their wear resistance increases.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of wear resistance forecast.
