FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: snow cover height sensor relates to meteorological instrument making and is designed for use in automatic and remote meteorological stations for efficient measurement of snow cover height. The sensor comprises digital thermometers, evenly arranged on a rack, which is fixed with a tripod in the upper point, a single-wire interface, a recorder, a computer with calculation software and a USB cable. The objective of the invention is to increase validity of measurements and to reduce device dimensions.
