FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to containers equipped with a coating on their inner surface, where these containers are suitable especially for packaging of cosmetic compositions. The object of the invention is to provide a new type of a container provided on its inner surface with a coating layer which may be coloured and which is also suitable for direct packing the cosmetic composition without the necessity of preventing the occurrence of contact between the cosmetic composition and the coating layer. The container for cosmetic composition has in the whole or part of the inner surface the coating based on the mineral oxide obtained by sol-gel deposition, which has a transparent body and where the coating present on the inner surface of the said transparent container is functionalized by the colorant and/or the compound absorbing radiation in the ultraviolet region, connected to the surface of coating by covalent bonds.

EFFECT: providing a new type of container equipped on its inner surface with a coating layer which may be coloured and which is also suitable for direct packing the cosmetic composition without the necessity of preventing the occurrence of contact between the cosmetic composition and the coating layer.
