SUBSTANCE: device represents a ligature guide differing by the fact that it consists of a cerclage wire 1mm in diameter, 18-35 mm long; the wire has a 0.5-0.8 mm flattening 2-5 mm long in the middle; the wire is also curved so that it forms legs or a double working portion and a top representing an open loop with the greatest cross dimension of less than 3mm; the working portion of the device is uniformly curved over a length of 1/3-1/2 of its length from the top of the device at 1/4-1/3 of a circle 2.5-4 cm in diameter; a top tip is curved a little more than this uniform curvature and reflected over the length of 3-5mm at an angle of 15-20 degrees; a handle of the device is two loops of the cerclage wire lying in the same plane 0.5-1.0 cm in diameter.

EFFECT: more effective treatment of orthopaedic-traumatological patients suffering the transosteal suturing operation.
