DEVICE FOR DETERMINING SEALING INTEGRITY OF CONTAINER AND METHOD OF ITS APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01M3/40

Abstract RU 2544263 C2

FIELD: testing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing the devices for tightness and can be used for leak testing of containers with reclosable closures, filled with liquid. The essence: the device comprises a holder (18) intended for installation of a container (16) in it, provided with a sealer (22) and containing the electrolyte product (17), and means for detection. The means for detection is provided with the first detector (20) with an end part (28) adapted to pierce the container (16). Moreover, the device comprises a pressure controller (34), a source (39) of fluid, an electrolyte tank (32) with a second detector (50) immersed in it, and also a measuring device (48) of conductivity. The first detector (20) is immersed in the electrolyte product (17) in the container (16). The container (16) with the first detector (20) inside is placed the electrolyte tank (32) having the second detector (50). The first (20) and the second (50) detectors with the measuring device (48) of conductivity are connected and the electrical conductivity is determined between the detectors. The sealer (22) does not leak if there is no current between the detectors. The sealer (22) leaks when there is the current between the detectors.

EFFECT: providing fast and reliable results when testing pressure-sealing of the containers by reducing the load on the operator of control and the possibility of quantifying the pressure inside the container.
