FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment, namely, to methods of protection of the bore of the artillery system against soil particles getting into it. The method consists in the fact that protection of the bore against soil particles getting into it is carried out by foam fed from the source. The foam generates a protective plug in a muzzle of the bore and/or in an adapter in front of the muzzle face of the bore.
EFFECT: elimination of getting soil particles into the bore in battle and in manoeuvring in the fields of fire, without the crew leaving the fighting compartment of the machine.
