FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and device of treatment of metal parts and may find application for composite microalloying and strengthening of surface of metal parts. The method includes transfer of ions of sprayed material of replaceable inserts in a flow of high-temperature pulse plasma for creation of a compositely microalloyed surface of parts. The discharge chamber and the working chamber are connected by means of a flange with an insert from material sprayed with specified plasma installed in its channel. In the working chamber a screen is placed, being made of the material sprayed by the specified plasma. High-temperature pulse plasma is produced with density of energy 105-109 W·cm-2. Treatment of the metal part is made by high-temperature pulse plasma with time of exposure 10-7-10-3 s, containing ions of material of the electrode, screen and flange insert.
EFFECT: saturation of high-temperature pulse plasma with undesirable ions is achieved, and accordingly homogeneity of chemical composition of part surface is achieved.
