FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mechanical action of a cutter on a part in the course of their mutual movement and supply of ozonised air under pressure to the cutting zone by a nozzle located at the distance of 10 mm from the front cutter edge. The longitudinal nozzle axis is placed in the plane of the main rear surface of the cutter at an angle of 70-80° to its main cutting edge and the ozonised air is supplied directly to the main cutting edge of the cutter.
EFFECT: improved wear resistance of a tool, efficiency and quality of processing.
