FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. An intraocular pressure control unit comprises a soft contact lens and a pressure sensor combined with the contact lens and accommodating: an active strain gauge, a passive sensor, a rigid member, a microprocessor electrically contacting with the active strain gauge and passive sensor. The active strain gauge, passive sensor and rigid member are spaced from the contact lens centre, while the active strain gauge comprises an area surrounding the contact lens centre by at least 180°. The passive sensor and rigid member each comprises an area surrounding the contact lens centre by at least 180°. The area of the passive sensor surrounding the contact lens centre is arranged in close proximity to the area of the rigid member surrounding the contact lens centre. A kit comprises a pressure control unit and a portable recorder configured to connect to the pressure control unit and to store the data obtained from the pressure control unit. The intraocular pressure control system comprises: the pressure control device, portable recorder and calculation unit.
EFFECT: using the given group of inventions enables measuring the intraocular pressure accurately for a long period of time.
