FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for measuring the intraocular pressure comprises a contact lens with an inner surface and an outer surface, and a pressure sensor combined with the contact lens and positioned so as to be applied on the eye of the wearer in order to measure the intraocular pressure of the eye when wearing the contact lens. The contact lens comprises a soft part and a hard part. The hard part is configured to at least partially harden the central part of the inner surface of the contact lens in order to maintain the radius of curvature of the hardened inner surface, configured to flatten the part of the eye surface adjacent to the pressure sensor so as to achieve pressure equilibrium around the pressure sensor when wearing the contact lens. The set for measuring the intraocular pressure comprises: the apparatus for measuring the intraocular pressure and a portable recording apparatus configured to communicate with the apparatus for measuring the intraocular pressure and to store data received from the apparatus for measuring the intraocular pressure. The system for monitoring the intraocular pressure comprises: the apparatus for measuring the intraocular pressure; a portable recording apparatus; a computing apparatus.
EFFECT: application of the group of inventions ensures monitoring of the intraocular pressure, convenient for the wearer when worn continuously for prolonged periods of time, such as 24 hours.
