SHELL BRAKE ASSEMBLY WITH ROTATING ELEMENT Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A22C11/00

Abstract RU 2551087 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: brake consists of a casing, the first and the second working parts. The first and second working parts are fitted by coaxially set first and second internal gaps in the form of a circular segment with a common central axis passing through the casing. At least the second working part of the brake can move reversely in respect of the first brake working part between the release position and the brake position along at least essentially circular path of movement around the common central axis. In the release position the brake working parts essentially are overlapping and form a ring with an open segment. The said open segment is of such a shape that a filling tube passes through it. In the brake position the working parts form essentially a closed ring.

EFFECT: invention provides for compact structure to limit the movement of a shell being filled.
