SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing mechanically structured mother-of-pearl. The method for producing mechanically structured mother-of-pearl by the mechanical synthesis of micrometric mother-of-pearl powder, wherein the mother-of-pearl temperature is supposed to be maintained below 40°C. The mother-of-pearl powder is used in bone structures or dental prostheses. Using the mechanically structured mother-of-pearl for covering bone or dental implants and bone replacement works. An implant comprising a core made of a structured material the surface of which is covered with mother-of-pearl. A bone insert comprising the core made of a structured material the surface of which is covered with mother-of-pearl. Mechanically structured mother-of-pearl for cosmetic, medical or veterinary application.

EFFECT: method enables reorganising various components of mother-of-pearl together, which is impossible when milling by common procedures, as well as enables achieving the synthesis of new molecules possessing new physical-chemical properties.
