FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: device for detection of external volume of a cylindrical hollow product comprises the first source of radiation and the first receiver of radiation. Additionally the second source of radiation, the second, third and fourth receivers of radiation, the first and second correlators, a calculator, the first and the second pair of electrodes for application of electric fields to a controlled product are introduced. The outlet of the first receiver is connected with the first inlet of the first correlator, the second inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the fourth receiver, the outlet of third receiver is connected to the first inlet of the second correlator, the second inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the second receiver, the outlet of the first correlator is connected with the first inlet of the calculator, the second inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the second correlator, the outlet of the calculator is the outlet of the device.
EFFECT: simplified procedure of processing of information signals on geometric parameters of a cylindrical product.
