FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to a method and device for production of extruded food products, in particular - such as chocolate bars. The method includes measurement of the flow rate of at least one material (12) through the extrusion hole in the head (10). The method may be used for production of extrudate (16) the cross section are whereof may change longitudinally or for production of an extrudate including two or more different materials wherein the materials ratio changes longitudinally. The device (11) for the method implementation includes an extrusion head (10) forming an extrusion hole and a material delivery system for delivery of material(s) to the head. The control system is effective for measuring the material flow rate. The control system may include a mechanism (240) for control of the flow on the way of the first material delivery up to the head (10). The flow control mechanism (240) may be effective for changing the supply path volume and may include an elastically deformable flexible element actuated by fluid medium.
EFFECT: inventions group usage will allow to enhance the ready products quality.
