UNIT FOR EXTRUDER CONSISTING OF HEAD AND CUTTING MEMBER FOR EXTRUDING OF FOOD PRODUCT PIECES WITH FILLER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A21C11/16

Abstract RU 2291621 C2

FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, preparing of extruded food products with filler.

SUBSTANCE: extruder has first pressure reservoir for keeping of food product mass under pressure, second pressure reservoir for keeping of filler under pressure, and pressure applying means for maintaining pressure within said reservoirs. First and second pipelines are communicating with first and second reservoirs, respectively. Unit consisting of head and cutting member is adapted for connection to first and second pipelines for communicating therewith, and comprises elongated annular extrusion member with extrusion wall defined at its first end, closed extrusion end adjoining said extrusion wall, and open feeding end defined at second opposite end of elongated annular extrusion member. Open feeding end is adapted for connecting to first pipeline of extruder for communication therewith. Unit consisting of head and cutting member is further equipped with pipe for filler, said pipe extending into elongated annular extrusion member. Pipe for filler may be connected to second pipeline. Said unit has elongation provided at elongated annular member at right angle thereto, and elongation provided on pipe for filler at right angle thereto, within elongation of elongated annular member. Extrusion head is formed at elongation of annular extrusion member. Cutting member of said unit has open drive end, elongated wall and open cutting end with surface which cuts-off extradite piece of predetermined length when extradite exits said head. Cutting member is partly positioned on extrusion head for reciprocating sliding thereon and may be operatively connected with its drive end to drive device of extruder for providing reciprocation sliding of cutting surface over extrusion head and away from it. Said unit has elongated annular extrusion member with first open end and second closed end, which may be connected to first pipeline to provide for fluid communication therewith.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing joint operation of cutting member in conjunction with extrusion member for cutting and squeezing of extradite and further exiting laterally of said unit.
