FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to medicine, namely to surgery. Device for treating hollow anatomical structures contains one part in form of fixing element; first axial element, connected to said part; and at least one plugging element, located on said first axial element. First axial element has distal and proximal ends. Said axial element can be folded in compact configuration when said distal end of plugging element travels to said proximal end of plugging element to fill hollow anatomical structure. Method is realised by application of claimed device.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to close pathological fistula of hollow organ in reliable way, as well as reduce risk of development of infection, erosion and other postoperative complications.
