FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubricating compositions, in particular to compositions for processing friction pairs, and can be used in machine-building for processing friction pairs, as well as in exploitation of mechanisms and machines to prolong overhaul period or during repair works. Method consists in placement of antifriction composition, containing mixture of disperse serpentine-containing material and swollen vermiculite, mixed with hydrocarbon binding agent, between contacting friction surfaces. As serpentine-containing material used is artificial polymagnesiumphenylsiloxane, used to modify swollen vermiculite, which is introduced into motor oil with coarseness of solid particles not larger than 1 mcm, in amount 220-300 g/litre. After that, mixture is subjected to hydrodynamic cavitation dispersion until coarseness of solid particles from 0.05 to 0.1 mcm is obtained. Hydrodynamic cavitation dispersion is realised with frequency approximately 200 Hz, preferably for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: increased stability, strength and durability of antifriction coating.
