FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: hydrodynamic cavitation dispersion of the modified vermiculite in the hydrocarbon binder at the frequency of 200 Hz for at least 30 minutes to obtain the dispersed solid particles smaller than 1 mcm, and place the resulting composition between the contact surfaces of the friction pair. The modified vermiculite is obtained by treatment with the solution of 6 - 12% hydrochloric acid in the amount of 10-15 ml of this hydrochloric acid solution per 1 g of vermiculite, by introducing into the solution the polystyrene in toluene, containing 1 g of polystyrene per 100 ml of toluene, and stirring the suspension up to boiling and boil it for 5 hours. The suspension is then filtered and the precipitate is dried at the air for 24 hours.

EFFECT: increase of the tribotechnical properties of the antifriction composition due to the increase of the composition solid particles relative mobility, the stability, strength and durability of the antifriction coating is increased.
