FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. A laser videoendoscope has a wave conductor for the transmission of laser radiation, a harness for the transmission of illumination and a wave conductor for image transmission. They represent fibre-optic wave conductors, which pass inside a probe and inside a probe-supporting handle. The handle is connected to the source of laser energy and a light source with the first relatively long fibre-optic cable. On the contrary, the image is transmitted from the handle to an image demonstration device by a camera unit, mounted on the handle on a relatively long electric cable. The camera and its electric cable can be disconnected from the handle and applied in a multitude of endoscopic procedures. The remaining part of the item, which includes the probe and the handle, can be utilised after each medical operation, which ensures an antiseptic procedure.
