FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: incisor teeth circle in a radius equal to a difference of a dental arch width across canine teeth and a depth of an anterior arch is drawn. That involves measuring the dental arch width across canine teeth and subtracting a distance of a frontal vestibular point found on the vestibular side between the medial incisor teeth to a line connecting the canine teeth points of the dental arch, from the measured value. The segments AC and AD are transferred from the upper point A drawn on both sides until intersecting the circle arch; each segment is equal to a frontal-distal diagonal measured from the vestibular point to the canine teeth point. A line going beyond the lower part of the drawn circle is drawn from the upper point A through the centre O; the segment AE equal to a dental arch depth measured from the frontal vestibular point to a line connecting vestibular distal points of the second molars along a projection of a median palatine suture and the segment AT equal to the dental arch width across the second molars are constructed. The lines E and T are drawn through the produced points E and T perpendicularly to the segment AT. The segments EK and EL each of which is equal to the dental arch mid-width across the second molars are transferred on the line E on both sides of the point E. The points C and K and points D and L are connected by straight lines CK and DL, from the middle of which perpendicularly lines are drawn until they intersect the line T to produce the points M and N, from which the arches DL and CK are drawn by the radius MD and the radius NC; along the above arches, the vestibular surface points of the occlusion contour of the grinding surface of the molars and premolars are expected to be arranged. The arch KCADL produced thereby is an individual dental arch.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the accuracy of patient's dental arch shaping.
