SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toner and developer. The toner comprises: noncrystalline polyester resin, a colorant, and a crystalline polyester resin, at that the component, soluble in tetrahydrofuran, of the noncrystalline polyester resin has a weight-average molecular weight of from 3000 to 8000, measured by gel permeation chromatography, at that the toner has a glass transition temperature A to the extraction process of the toner using methanol and the glass transition temperature B after the extraction process of the toner using methanol, and the difference between A and B (B-A) is equal to 2.0°C or less.
EFFECT: providing a toner which has improved property of low-temperature fixing and high temperature stability while storage.
