FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of 3D part by laser melting. In compliance with this process, fused area (5) composed by point and/or liner input of energy is registered by sensor (6, 11, 12, 18) to output appropriate magnitudes for part quality evaluation. Said magnitudes and coordinates localizing the latter in part (1) are loaded in memory. Appropriate display (29) is used to output both as two- and/or more-dimensional images with respect to the point of registration in the part.

EFFECT: higher precision of the part fused area data magnitudes processing.
