FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method to trap harmful emissions from coking reactors includes absorption of products from reactor heating with heavy gas oil of coking in an additional absorption tower, and absorption of coke steaming and cooling products in the main absorption tower with a mixture of bottom products of the additional absorption tower and recycle of the bottom products of the main absorption tower at temperature of 200-240°C. Balance quantity of the bottom products of the main absorption tower is sent to a head line of the reactors. Steam gas flow with temperature of 160-200°C is drained from the main absorption tower via a condenser-refrigerator into a separator for separation into gas, water or hydrocarbon condensate.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase yield of target product from a delayed coking plant.
