SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering. Strip-block brake with a forced air-liquid cooling system includes a drum mounted on a shaft, a brake tape with polymer linings, a brake pulley with a rim including free and ground edges, working and non-working surfaces, right and left flanges, the chamber under the refrigerant, placed from the end surface of the free edge of the rim of the brake pulley to its grounding edge. In the middle of the rim of the brake pulley there are cylindrical annular volumes. To the left flange of the rim of the brake pulley on its perimeter are connected air intakes located at a constant pitch, connected with holes in the flange, made at an angle in the form of Laval snuffled, connected with the first cylindrical annular volume. Last cylindrical annular volume is connected to the holes located along the perimeter of the working surface of the rim of the brake pulley, made in the form of confusors.
EFFECT: increase in the durability of metal-polymer friction brake pairs is achieved.
