FIELD: machine building; measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for evaluating external and internal parameters of friction units of brake devices in bench conditions, in particular, pairs of friction of belt-block brakes of drilling winches. Method for estimating external and internal parameters of friction units is proposed for testing in bench conditions, in which the mechanical systems of the object and model structure, consisting of subsystems, at their contact-pulse electrothermomechanical frictional interaction of subsystems, which is in interaction with design features, linear or polynomial laws of change of tachograms of a frictional metal element of a friction pair, as well as with speed, power, electrical, thermal and chemical characteristics of the friction unit, which make up its single field of energy interaction, that between the external and internal parameters of the “object” and “model” provide the necessary relationships.

EFFECT: increase in reliability of the results of determining the operating parameters of friction pairs is achieved.
